He advises and represents several multinational corporations in intellectual property matters in Uruguay, in particular in the field of trademark litigation and on a wide range of contracts and business deals.<\/p>\n

He served as President of the Uruguayan Association of Industrial Property Agents (AUDAPI).<\/p>\n

Currently, he is Second Vice-President of the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI).<\/p>\n

Moreover, he is an active member of several international associations, serving, for example, on the Publications Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Publications Committee of the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) and the Enforcement Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).<\/p>\n

He is the author of numerous articles on the subject of industrial property, published in both national and international magazines.<\/p>\n

He is in charge of the Uruguayan chapters of the publications \u201cTrademarks \u2013 Getting the Deal Through\u201d <\/i>(International Bar Association) and \u201cDomain Names \u2013 Global Practice and Procedures\u201d<\/i> (Field Fisher Waterhouse).<\/span><\/p>\n
