In the near future, Microsoft will be installing a new artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory in Uruguay.

It would be the fourth of this type in the world, the first in Latin America and the third outside the United States, adding it to the one in Shanghai and Munich.

The initiative is aligned with the vision of the Uruguayan government to become an “innovation hub” for the region, positioning the country and the laboratory as a facilitator of innovation and creativity, where new ideas or business challenges could become a reality.
